АннотацияThis textbook is devoted to the issues of adaptation of urban built environment to the global challenge of climate change. <br>Textbook consists of two parts. First part touches upon impact of climate to the environmental quality, existing positive and negative effects of global warming and adaptation of urban areas to climate change. Second part describes energy efficiency improvements of modern buildings.<br> For students majoring in "Urban Planning", "Architecture", "Construction". <br>The textbook is prepared as part of the project BECK (Integrating Education with Consumer Behavior Relevant to Energy Efficiency and Climate Change at the Universities of Russia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), funded with support of the European Commission.
